Atlanta Libraries Promoting Personal Betterment

This was created for the Atlanta-Fulton Country library system call for quotes/artwork submissions to promote accessibility, resources, and services of public libraries; with a specific focus of appeal towards primary-level students.

The poster portrait-proportions were client provided; and my focus for this work was a phrase that had been passed on to me, and then playing with a highly-stylized mimicry of the human brain in profile. The pencil reminisces the act of effectively writing notes down while we learn, and a sort of idea (above the brain) translating to the execution of said idea (below the brain). The color choices psychologically representing red for excitement and passion to learn; the turquoise representing infinite possibilities through the learning process; and the white being the bright potential of the act of learning itself.
